North Catholic/AGH Partnership

North Catholic High School and Allegheny General Hospital have partnered to encourage students to learn more about careers in healthcare.  Students in grades 10, 11 and 12 are eligible to participate in this unique, hands-on apporach to information-gathering.

The Partnership allows students to interview more than 17 different healthcare professional, ranging from radiation technologists to physicians.  These professionals share information with the students including:

• Scope of responsibilities
• Necessary education
• Day-to-day activities
• Length of Training
• Expected Salary Ranges

After interviewing the professionals, students are encouraged to arrange to "shadow" a healthcare professional to see real-world scenarios.  For further information, please contact Pam Connolly at:  Connollyp@north-catholic.org
